I completed my first half marathon in the beautiful Western Cape South Africa today in 2:10. At age 68 I’m really cuffed. Bens training plan was such a help getting me race ready and fit. Thanks so much
Don't normally wear a hat, but got a birthday present of the 2022 Elite hat to run Rome Marathon at the weekend (19/03/23). Wasn't as sunny as expected, but humid and hat still did a good job. Dousing my head / hat with water kept my temp down.
Was aiming for a 3.30 and got 3.28 (17min PB) so happy all round.
Very light hat almost forgot I was wearing it, fits really well.
This was my first order and the delivery and customer service were excellent, it was really nice to get a personalised note in with my cap as well!!

Just in the middle of a visit to Malaysia and although I'm not due to go out for a run until this weekend, I wore this out today in 36 degree heat in central KL while out all day and it worked so well. As always, the quality is superb which will keep me coming back for more!
So last Sunday I just finished my Marathon with the time of 3:09:14 and I'm quite satisfied with it.
I would say this is a great plan to follow if planning to run 3:15 or faster. I did missed a few workouts during the 15 weeks build-up due to a little niggle here and there but that's okay because after week 12 I felt stronger than before, after completing all the long run's training, going into the race.
I will absolutely be using this plan again for my next Marathon build-up and see what can I achieve!
My wife and I followed this plan and as a result we both got new 5k PBs at Dorney Lake 2 weeks ago. We both took well over 1 minute off our previous times and I was about 10 seconds from sub 20 😁
Obviously you have to be disciplined and consistent, but the workouts were great and the plan easy to follow and adjust as life inevitably got in the way at times.
We did stuck with our own easy paces as I know my HR using the easy paces on the plan chart would be quite high.
Great hat. Hardly know you are wearing it. Don’t have photo with this one (yet) but here’s one a prepared earlier 😉. Pretty sure the hat got me under 4hrs last October.
Just Perfect training attire. Although I have many shirts from race day events. Nothing beats having a stylish training T. Which is designed by runners for runners. I will certainly be adding more of the GETTING IT DONE merchandise. To add to my running kit. 👌
