My first sub 40' 10k race

I've been doing this plan since about 4 weeks ago while targetting sub 5 hour for my next marathon. So far so great, my body responded well to the menu and feel strong for my next week marathon.
My goal was to get a sub 2 hour half coming off a previous best of 2:10 and its safe to say that I exceeded my own expectations with a 1:50:01, which is all thanks to this plan. Legs felt great and didn’t get too fatigued at any point. This was easy to follow and even if you are new to running this is a great plan to help you reach your goals.

I downloaded this as a first-time Half Marathoner and was amazed how simple to plan was to understand. I managed to run The Windsor Half Marathon in 1:58:07. I knew it was a hilly course going into the race so added some more hill work but that was a personal choice. Amazing for a free training plan.
I was ambithious and followed this plan for my second marathon. The shorter and faster sessions were no problem. But the long runs with faster sections were really tough. In the end I did 3:23 in really hot weather (14 minutes PB).
I think this is a great plan, and I will follow it again to hopefully get my BQ 😎
