Ran my first 50k trail after using the L1 plan under 5:30. The whole thing went great I felt more than prepared. Would highly recommend 🙂
I love this hat. Super comfortable and lightweight. Hats off to Ben and Sarah (and thanks to Ben´s mum Sheri).
I just finished my first week of the 10-week program for the 10k L4 Advanced. It felt good. I'm targeting a 40-minute 10k , coming from a personal best of 42:37. I stepped up from 2-3-4 runs per week to 5-6 with this plan. Let's see how this works out.
I chose a course close to home, around the neighborhood, like a circuit track of about 6 km a lap. My plan is to keep this as "the track," including on race day, unless I'm out of town over the weekends. I did not register for anything official. I'm running against my PBs and challenging myself.
As rotation, I'm using my Hoka Mach 5 and Asics Novablast 4 for the easy and longer runs, and my NB Supercomp Trainer V3 for the speed and progression run sessions. I purchased the last two shoes after reviews on YouTube from Ben, and I do not regret it.
I feel like Ben is now my guide and coach on this running journey. I hope to stay healthy, injury-free, and achieve the 40 - minute 10k personal best on April 5th. Then, after a week with some easy recovery and no-target runs, I'm starting Ben's 15-week L2 marathon program , targeting a sub-4. I do not have a marathon in my runs; the furthest I've run is 25 km . So this will be my year's goal.
I’ve had a 4 year hiatus from running. And got back into it last summer. Built my mileage back up slowly, and got half decent again.
I targeted a local 10k race and thought I would try and aim for sub 45.
Purchased the level 3 plan and I could not recommend this plan enough the sessions looked intense and didn’t think I would be able to run that fast again.
10 week plan with Christmas and lurgy for a week
Just raced today with a dirty elevation in 44:40
Thank you very much ben for putting this plan together definitely going to purchase another plan for a half
I purchased this running hat from the national running show following a previous purchase of the running hat which I’ve used for several years. The running hats are extremely lightweight, great ventilation, cool design and would recommend. Recommend it.
The distribution of training is excellent, giving you time to plan in advance for long training sessions and fit in well with your daily routine. I did 2 ultramarathons in 2024 and I will do 3 more in 2025, and this training will help a lot.
Awesome kit, perfect fit. Alongside the hat I’m sure i run 10 seconds per mile faster!!
Thanks Ben, we his has given me the drive to get back into running again after 18 months off with Bi-lateral patellar tendon ruptures (Same time). The plan is easy to follow. And helps with targets. The best part is the variety of runs. I never used to train differently - 1 pace all the time. So this is great. Knowing you can go slower to go faster.
Ben, thanks for this. It’s great. I’m sure I’ll be getting the other distances in the future.
I love this singlet. It is amazingly light and looks awesome. Furthermore you get to support Ben on his mission. I’ll be getting more of these.
