Great fit with the right amount of pockets

I was returning to running after an injury and needed some structure to my runs. I spent 2 months building up a base then started this plan. I just got a 38:38 in my local 10k and beat my PB from 12 years ago by almost a minute 😁. I like the simplicity of the plan and found the variety in the interval and tempo runs really enjoyable. I'm looking forward to using it again to target sub-38!

I, like most people, own a variety of running clothes that range from really cheap to quite expensive. I also have kit that is fairly tight to very loose in size as well. Ben’s shorts are the first that have exactly hit that sweet spot. They fit perfectly on me which makes them exceptionally comfortable and the price is spot on in my opinion. I’ve tried shorts that are twice the cost and come nowhere near the fit, functionality or quality. Ben’s shorts have two inside pockets which are perfect for your phone and also two side zipped pockets which will happily fit keys etc. One mesh pocket at the rear will hold your gels making these shorts perfect for any length of run. These shorts have helped me to run further and faster. They’re so good I’ve just ordered another pair along with a short sleeved top! Happy days!

Just finished my marathon after following this plan pb'd by 8min. Great plan and easy to follow. With life being so busy occasionally I had to change rest days around but made it work

I used to wear these type of shorts while running in South Africa and really enjoyed the light feeling without the material working on the front of my thigh. These shorts are like that but even better since they don’t have the extra material with pockets. I appreciated the key clip and also found the back pocket very easy to use with my gels. Thank you for designing these and look forward to using them in my next half marathon in a weeks time!

I wanted a plan not generated by AI. To have that human understanding/ empathetic approach to the marathon distance, rather than just stats and figures.
Initially I was worried about the high mileage. However, my plan starts in 6 weeks. So I've had time to dissect the plan and embrace it. I've jigged a few days about to suit my lifestyle/home life, but I'm now very excited about starting. I'm also feeling very confident in the plan Team Parkes have designed. Roll on Dublin City Marathon 2026
