Took these new split running shorts for their first run here in Majorca in 33 degree heat, very comfortable no rubbing and to be honest I hardly knew I was wearing them they’re so good, I had a gel in the back pocket and room key (credit card size) in the zip pocket both very secure. Can’t recommend these shorts highly enough and at a very competitive price.
I have already completed Ben Parkes’ half marathon training plan twice and achieved a PB of 1 hour 30 minutes, and now I have also purchased the 5K plan to improve my time to under 20 minutes. Thank you, Ben, for the very well-structured plan, the variety of runs, and for being the best. I can’t wait to start training with this plan.
Lovely shorts. Great materials and very light. Pocket on each side of the inner short for the mobile phone and keys.. perfect pocket for gels on the back side. And they are looking great!

When I first got them I was thinking if they were to short but that’s only because I usually where boring long shorts that rub!
These shorts are very light and you can hardly feel them while running. I wore them on our club Mallusk Harriers 5mile mile race which I did amazing well! The shorts helped keep me cool (down there) and I loved them.
I will be buying more. 💯 percent recommend.

I am so pleased with my purchase. These are quality shorts. I normally go for Saysky 2 in 1 shorts but these from Ben Parkes are equal if not slight better in quality and over £30 less. The material is super light and very comfortable. There is a lovely soft waste band and the draw strings are great, chunky and substantial instead of flimsy ones you normally get in running shorts. Nice side zip pocket for keys to fit horizontal across the back of the short. I was a bit worried that the pouch at the back may not hold items but I was wrong although I think I would have liked a zip at the back pouch. The under shorts have 2 X thigh pockets and they are not too long which makes fitting an iPhone 15 perfect with no bounce. I went for the Large size and they are a perfect fit. In summary these are cracking shorts at an amazing price point and 100% recommend them.
I really like these shorts. Shorter than my usual shorts, good pockets for phone, keys and stuff, but noticed the inner short has worn bobbly after only one 10k run 🤔
One run and they were superb, very comfortable and looking forward to taking them out for a long and a race!
Yet another fantastic quality item from Ben & Sarah. These shorts feel so lightweight yet have so much storage. Forgot I had keys and phone on me as absolutely no movement, or bouncing. Honestly best shorts I own.
I have a few high quality singlets and this one is the gold standard. So lightweight you can't even feel it. Snug but not restrictive. Wicks sweat and dries fast. No chaffing. Ran a half race with it this past Sunday and set a new PR by 4 minutes. What more could you want?
