Just wanted to send you a quick message to say a massive THANK YOU for your half marathon plans.
Over the last two years, I’ve completed your Level 4 plan twice now:
- first time: from 1:34 down to 1:27
- second time: all the way down to 1:24:14
Honestly… absolutely unbelievable.
At this point I’m starting to suspect the plan contains some kind of illegal wizardry.
The best part? I proudly wore your running cap during the race — so clearly it’s now scientifically proven to be worth at least 3 minutes over a half marathon.
Seriously though, your structure, sessions and overall approach worked incredibly well for me. The balance between hard work and consistency was spot on, and I genuinely enjoyed the process.

I highly recommend this beginner plan. As someone who used to find 10km difficult, it was so great to feel so well prepared for 42.2km by the end.
I had initially felt overwhelmed by all the marathon training information out there. Finding this plan and strength routine gave me structure, consistency, and one clear direction.

It works!
I was returning to running after an injury and needed some structure to my runs. I spent 2 months building up a base then started this plan. I just got a 38:38 in my local 10k and beat my PB from 12 years ago by almost a minute 😁. I like the simplicity of the plan and found the variety in the interval and tempo runs really enjoyable. I'm looking forward to using it again to target sub-38!
