Wonderful piece of kit. Equally comfortable as a neck buff or headband. My children both wore there’s as neck buffs at Junior Parkrun, I love mine as a headband. Great material, stylish design. Have already recommended to my running peers! Fabulous service too…
First time following a training plan and running in any sort of structured way and I love it! The plan is simple to understand and follow plus it takes all the guess-work out of my running. Highly recommended!
I’ve only got good things to say about my Ben Parkes beanie! Great fit, doesn’t make me overheat so my head stays at the right temperature. It’s the best running hat I’ve ever had (with the BP caps being the best caps, obviously!). Highly recommended 👍🏻
I have been using the plan now for 4 weeks and the sessions although hard seem to be getting results.. fingers crossed I can. Complete all of the sessions before race day.. it is clear and easy to follow.. the pace guide is a fantastic feature
Since following Ben's program I have improved over all distances, especially by setting the best time on the 10k. Thank you ben, from Italy.
Even though I've ran marathons and ultra marathons. I'm recovering from cancer so i though I'd start from the beginning again. This is a fantastic plan and i can feel the benefits.
Really good starter programme, good for getting me back into it after a 2 year hiatus! Will definitely be getting more plans! Thanks
I’m finding this plan works as a great template and gives me space to do what’s best for me. Thank Ben!
not a big fan of hats as I get hot quickly so tried the visor, so much better. Wicks the sweat away nicely, good brim to keep rain or sun outa eyes and it looks cool too. Might of liked a central logo middle of front that was reflective, but its nit picking :-)
This is the 3rd time I have used a plan from Ben and Sarah. Looking forward to seeing the results this time. The first plan with Sarah helped me to complete the Lakeland 50 and I’ll be using this one to reach the qualifying time for the Lakeland 100! Very easy to use and great advice and explanations for the different training runs. Highly recommend and fantastic value for money!!
Second one of Ben’s hats that I’ve ordered, they’re so good. Really comfy, look great and really well made. My first one carried me through my first marathon and this one will do my next half 😊
Good fit even though I usually have large size hats. Feels nice material. Might be a little warm in summer as the mesh isn't that open, but should be good to dunk in water.
I'm pretty sure the deer I ran past thought I was a zebra
I love my new Track Red running hat. I particularly like the more rounded shape of this, compared to some of more 'trucker-like' caps that Ben sells on the website. I think that I'll be purchasing the grey one before too long! Thanks, Ben, for another amazing hat. I'll keep getting it done!
This bobble hat is warm and of good quality. I use it for dog walks and can't wait to go for a run in it. The handwritten note from Ben's mum is...(chef's kiss) The bobble hat on my desk or in my car reminds me to go for a run and keeps me on track. (Like a subliminal message)
Thank you Ben, thank you Sarah and thank you Sheri. #gettingitdone
Fits really well, stayed on despite my ‘speed’, looks cool and makes me a local legend. Used during my 55 minute 10 km and really pleased with this comfy hat
I completed the couch to 5k and with a 10k race booked wanted some help with the last couple of weeks of my 10k training as I am 46 and need structure so I don't injure myself at my old age :-). The plan is great, it was perfect for the final stages of my training and I got my first (very hilly, wet and windy) 10k in 67 minutes. Pic of me at the finish line - utterly elated. Now onto the 10k improver plan and a goal to get it under an hour for Manchester in May.
Getting into the London Marathon 2023 I decided to up my training I got both the Marathon ready to start in the new year and the Half marathon plan for an even i had pre-booked.
My aim for the half I had booked was 1:45 (previous PB 1:49) I’ve just completed my half today in 1:36:16 🙌 🙌 and couldn’t be happier with it. Onto London 2023, now with Bens plan aiming for 3:30:00
Thank you for the plans, truly awesome!
After using the beginner plan for my first marathon I decided to use the next one up for marathon number 2. The plan is easy to follow and enjoyable. Ben never lets you down
Thank you so much for making this guide so affordable, understandable and achievable for my first marathon, a big goal of mine. I loved it and have already purchased my next guide for another running challenge.
The material and design is great for a humid country like Singapore. Running around in the sun or in the rain, this cap can do it all while feeling comfortable. Love it! And digging the all white design of this.
Purchased another running hat on sale on the BP website as a gift for my wife, she already has a few others but now has a new favourite!
Seem well made and adjustment allows for a good range of head sizes. It would be nice to see an elasticated adjustment that may secure the hat better in stronger wind but this is only a minor comment.
Overall very please and will definitely purchase another for myself this time 😀
High quality and great design. I went for a medium, so can pull the sleeves down to keep my hands warm. I ran the Goring & Streatley fell race (over 1200ft ascent in 5 miles) in it this week shaving 10secs off my course PB from last year, so it is fast as well!
This is the first training plan I've ever followed despite many years of racing. I'm a slower older female runner aged 56, and decided to download the free beginner plan as I usually complete my half marathons in around 2:25. This plan is manageable around full time work and family commitments. It also allows adequate recovery time for someone of my age. I'm really enjoying the variety in pace and run types - prior to this I just plodded along. The plan is very easy to follow and is very achievable. I would thoroughly recommend giving it a try if you're thinking of following a plan. Fingers crossed I might be able to knock some time off my 2:19 PB. Thanks Ben.
Very happy with this purchase as I have never ran with a hat before And found this very comfortable
