    Welcome to the Beginner plan!

    I’ve designed this for anyone who has run a 10k race or possibly a half marathon and is looking to step up to the full marathon.

    • Designed for people targeting a 4:30 to 6:00 finish time.

    • The first week is 8.5 miles or 13.5km.

    • The biggest week is 28 miles or 45km.

    • There are three to four runs each week.

    • The plan has both miles and kilometres.

    • It is 18 weeks in length, with structured training, recovery and taper weeks.

    • There are suggested paces for all the runs.

    • Terminology page describing each type of run, so you’ll always know what to do.

    • Plus discount codes with a few companies to help you with your training.

    • Space for strength training and suggested exercises.

    Finished strong my first marathon

    Trained for my first marathon (Athens Marathon the Authentic) with this plan. I am very satisfied, i finished strong in 4h 42m. I modified the plan a bit to include more Hill Repeats as the course is hilly. Looking forward to trying L2. Cheers Ben!

    Finally got the sub 5:00 I have been trying to achieve for years. Learnt so much from this plan.. there's way more than just the actual training. Absolute bargain for what you get. Many thanks Ben!

    Love my new cap

    I ordered my first cap & am very impressed with the quality of it. It fits very well & i can't stop wearing it on my runs and even around the house! I will be ordering a few more as I am that impressed plus i know I'm supporting Ben by buying them. It's the least I can do to repay all the tips & information that Ben gives out to his followers.

    Great plan, tough but really enjoyable improved from 1hr 35 to 1hr 29. Would highly recommend. Gonna try the 10k plan now to get sub 40

    L5 half marathon plan

    This plan came at the perfect time for me having run 1:26 in November 2020. It's my goal to run sub 1:20 and I'm using this plan for a race in the Spring. What I like most about Ben's plans is that they are very clear and the workouts aren't overly complex. They also allow a high degree of flexibility and are good value for money. I've every confidence I will be a much fitter runner by the end of the plan.

    Great Product!!!!!
    Its very comfortable hat to wear. Easy to put on and I very much like the simplicity of the adjustable strap.

    In terms of practical use, it handled very well during my runs. I tend to sweat alot and I was amazed to see that this hat was able to absorb the sweat very well and stayed on my head throughout the entirety of my runs. Happy to say I can start off 2021 in high spirits, by breaking the 20min 5K barrier and this hat very much played into my personal achievement.

    Thanks Ben & Sarah for creating a great product. Will look to buy more in the future.
