10 KM Beginner - L1
Welcome to the 10k Level 1 Beginner plan!
I’ve designed this for anyone who has already run a 5k and is looking to step up to the next level with some more structured training,
Designed for people targeting a 50 - 60 minute finish time.
The first week is 74 minutes.
The biggest week is 135 minutes.
There are three runs each week.
The plan is all time based.
It is 10 weeks in length, with structured training, recovery and taper weeks.
Space for strength training and suggested exercises.

First time using a plan of this nature after completing a few previous 5/10k events.
Found that the plan was simple to follow and got me doing a lot more variety in my weekly runs which I feel really improved my performance and kept me motivated. Highly recommended for anyone whether they are a first time 10k runner or someone looking to improve.
Managed to beat my PB by over 4 minutes and will certainly be looking at using one of the half marathon plans going forward!
