About this plan

I’ve designed this plan for experienced marathon and ultra runners who are comfortable with running high mileage weeks.

There is a pace chart so you know exactly how fast your runs should be.

Also included is a full glossary of terms so you'll always know what to do.

Loads of tips each week so you can learn along the way and stay motivated!

Plan Details / Who is this for?

The first week is 30 miles / 48km.

The biggest week is 60 miles / 97km.

There is five to six runs each week.

The plan has both miles and kilometres.

It is 15 weeks in length, with easy to understand structured training with time set aside for you to implement your own strength training.

The plan is best suited for intermediate to advanced runners comfortable with running higher mileage weeks.

Optional Strength Routine Add On

The 'Plan + Strength Routine' option includes the full plan plus 3 integrated "at home" strength routines with warm up and cool down exercises.

Beginner friendly and easy to follow.

No equipment necessary.

Are the training plans in miles or kilometers?

We have written the training plans in both miles and kms, both of which are included in the PDF file so you can refer to whichever one suits you.

The pace charts are also in miles and km's too.

How will I receive my plan?

You will receive an email with a link to download your plan straight after purchase.

You can also click a link on the checkout success page.

This will download the PDF file to your computer, tablet or phone. 

What format do the training plans come in?

The plans are a downloadable PDF file which you can view on any device or print off.

You will be emailed the link to download your plan.

Please note the plan can only be downloaded a maximum of 5 times. 

I feel I am in between two training plans, which one should I go for?

Each plan gives the number of days of training per week, so we’d advise going for the one which best fits in with your current lifestyle and commitments.

Also consider the number of miles or km's for the first week and peak week and compare that figure to where you are currently.

The best success will come from following a plan that is achievable given your lifestyle and current fitness.

Loved The Plan & Delivered

Followed the plan for my first ultra and it worked out really well. The plan was fun to do and never the same so kept me focused. The race went well and thanks to Ben & Sarah I felt strong throughout. Finished around 15 mins under my goal time. What pleased me most was that I wasn’t passed from the half way point so the plan kept me strong. Can’t thank B & S enough

Great Plan!

A great plan to follow either for your first 50K or if you are wanting to improve your time/fitness. I followed the plan for my second 50K, and it was super easy to follow and the sessions were definitely achievable. I ran the same race this year as my first 50K last year, and managed to beat my time by 53mins!! I was over the moon! I felt strong on the run, and put it down to the training plan and the S&C plan I purchased! I have now purchased the marathon plan for my race in a few months. Thanks Ben and Sarah!! :)

Clear and concise instructions with lots of tips

Bought this plan to help with a 50k Trail race in 2024, I have made a few tweaks here and there to fit in with my lifestyle. I have programmed all the runs into my Garmin and I am really looking forward to the coming weeks as the mileage builds up. The plan is laid out really nice with many tips along the way, the pace chart is incredibly helpful. The strength routine is very easy to follow. If anyone is interested in getting help using any of the plans they are great value for money and all work along side very nicely with the variety of YouTube videos that Ben is constantly producing. So far so good and will report back when I complete the ultra in January
