These plans really work! In May this year I ran 10km (slowly) for the first time in a decade, even 5km had been a challenge before that. Come August, and I ran a 10km race and finished at 38:45. Will be moving on to the half marathon plan next.
Having not competed in any 10K races over the past 3 years due to various reasons, I was wanting to start serious training again and was looking for a 10K Running Plan to beat my PB. A few weeks in and I can definitely see improvements in my running including my running times. I would highly recommend Parkes 10K Intermediate Running Plan to anyone looking to get back into racing or returning from injury.
Just Finished my Marathon plan and Marathon, so want to improve my 10km times. It's been a week into the plan and loving it. Great structure and easy to follow and understand. I will be purchasing the immediate Marathon plan next for my next Marathon. Thank you.👍🏻
Bought the plan recently following Manchester Marathon 3wks ago and decided to try & work on some pace for a while.
Just finished Week One which was generally fine although adjusting to faster/shorter runs is taking some getting used to, but am enjoying the plan and feel confident it'll help me reach my target 46mins at the end of June... Looks well structured & challenging.
Ive used one of Bens plans back when I was returning to running after giving birth to train for a half marathon so it was an easy decision to again revert back to him for the 10k. My training doesn’t officially start for another couple of weeks but first impressions of the plan are great! It’s really well written and although it looks challenging (which is exactly what I was after to hit my goals) I can’t wait to get started!
Combined with cycling 3 times a week there is enough intensity and not too much volume for a very middle of the road athlete. Only a few weeks in but feeling strong and motivated

I used this plan coming off a couple of months with no focused training and low motivation. When I started it I felt I was struggling to hit 10k on 50 minutes. By the time I finished the programme I ran a tough 10k just under 44 minutes. I used the plan again for my next two races and I have got down to 41:28! Great plan and easy to follow

After getting injured during marathon training, my return to training has lacked consistency. Having entered a 10k I required fresh ideas for my training so I turned to Ben for inspiration. The plan has given the motivation I required to bring back the focus to my training and opened my eyes to new sessions, which I had never considered previously. Hopefully I will bear the fruits of the hard work in the race in July. I also purchased a marathon plan for my deferred place next year and will look forward to following that schedule. Thank you for the constant inspiration, motivation and passion you & Sarah provide to the running community.
