I will turn 60 next year and have entered marathon in May.i have ran lot marathons and ultra marathons without real training .I have decided to go for my PB goal of sub 3.30.Lot of friends have used these plans .I am motivated to follow the plan to the letter to get my goal (before age stops me😄)

Fantastic product. Very lightweight and BREATHABLE. I had an older sports snood from amazon but that was way too thick and I would heat up too much. The wraps Ben provides fixed that problem for me. They keep me warm enough without overheating. Plus they look cool and encourage me to keep getting it done!
I have been following the schedule for 2 weeks now and i love it. i have enough variety in my runs which also keeps me motivated. the day i have to do strength training is also in the schedule which i find very useful.
I plan to run my second marathon in April. My 15 week training officially starts Jan. 10. I am also planning a half marathon a week prior to that. I want to improve my marathon time by at least 20 minutes. My first marathon time was 4:51. This was a hill climb of 1,900 feet and a equal decent. Currently I'm doing more strength training along with running. I plan on using Ben Parkes running plan to train for the Salt Lake City Marathon. I am impressed with the details yet easy to comprehend plan I downloaded (Level 2/ Improver). I will use this plan for guidance and motivation to achieve my goal. My half is a hill climb, and my routes are hilly so I will get plenty of incline training in my runs. I am on pace now to begin the prescribed runs and paces. I look forward to documenting my progress with this plan. I plan on running the hill climb marathon again in August. 2025 here I come!
I used Ben's half marathon plan to knock a whopping 45 minutes off in one year! His visuals for the body weight training makes it easy to follow, and encouraging to actually do! Would highly recommend his plans and to watch his videos on YouTube for further motivation!
This plan helped me run my first marathon in Verona last week (3hr 33 min 55s).
I liked that every week had different runs so it was never boring and also that I didn't have to plan my runs myself.

I have been following Ben for a while on YouTube but just recently purchased a training plan. I used the Intermediate L3 to hit a new PR in the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, DC.
