    Best Training Plan

    So pleased I chose this training plan for my first marathon. Easy to understand and swap about , but gets the job done. I missed about 4 shorter runs in total due to life getting in the way !! Finished in 4:36:22 at 50 years old . Will definitely be using Bens plans for all future events ,

    A great starting marathon plan

    Used this plan to build up to my first marathon after a knee injury last year. I did my DIY marathon at the end of lockdown, finished strong in 4h12. Now going to use the L2 to aim for that sub-4 next - thanks Ben! Great plan, would recommend for any first time marathoners.

    Finished strong my first marathon

    Trained for my first marathon (Athens Marathon the Authentic) with this plan. I am very satisfied, i finished strong in 4h 42m. I modified the plan a bit to include more Hill Repeats as the course is hilly. Looking forward to trying L2. Cheers Ben!

    Love the plan it's great but wish it gave the milage conversions to km - as an aussie we only use km's so have to google the conversion for every run

    Beginner plan

    I’ve been given various plans from different apps, but this one is the best! Not only does it build up sensibly, it all seems achievable. As a beginner, I feel really confident I will complete the marathon if I follow the plan!

    Possibly should be 5 stars, but too early to say. I was definitely overdoing volume on previous program, this does seem to be meeting where I am. I started the program in week 5 as this seemed a decent approximation of my present status. So far, so good. Excellent.
