I've developed these amazing plans to get you to that start line in the best possible shape, so you can run that time you deserve. You can do it and I can't wait to find out all about it when you do!
There are five levels of the 10k plan, all with different goals, that vary depending on how many runs you can commit to each week. Check the comparison chart below to help you choose the right one!

I purchased a marathon plan to prep for my October Marathon. I had time to use the plan’s last two weeks and tapered preparing for my spring half marathon. I achieved a PR and took exactly two minutes off of my previous record! This plan takes the guess work out and forces rest days, which I need! Well done, Ben!
I loved the plan! I’ve had two failed attempts at sub 3, blowing up at 18 both times. The plan just worked for me and I only needed to move a few of the days to fit around being a busy mum and working . I felt strong through out the 15 weeks and didn’t have my usual exhaustion/over training feeling. Unfortunately it was ridiculously hot on Marathon day and I didn’t hit my goal but I did get a PB taking over 4 minutes of my previous times coming in at 3.06 and I can’t be disappointed with that considering the heat. I felt good and unlike my previous marathons didn’t have to walk, a solid 26.2 miles achieved on the day and I know that if the weather had been on my side that I would have been so much closer to my goal. Going to use the plan for another marathon in October. Thanks guys!
Trained for 10k in 1h, ended doing them in 56:37 min.

The parcel arrived quickly despite Ben running the London Marathon that weekend. T-shirt is v high quality, exactly what I look for. Fit is great for me, true to size.

Have only been running for a couple of years but wanted to take on an ultra. Although this seemed very daunting (50k) I had a really good experience with previous training plans from Ben Parkes (This is my 3rd different plan) so no hesitation to purchase this plan. So really getting into it, learning a lot transitioning from road running to trail and hopeful my first ultra race goes well!

Thank you so much for a great marathon plan. This was my first marathon and trained for sub 4 - achieved 3hr 50mins at Manchester Marathon 2025. Totally chuffed with that so thank you so much. The strength workouts massively helped as well, they're a great add on to the plan.

I own over 20 running hats from all sorts of brands. I came across this one at the London Marathon expo while picking up my bib. It felt light and breathable, and it looked good when I tried it on so I bought it.
I tested it the next day on my final tapering run, then wore it on race day. It was a hot one, and I sweat more than the average person believe me. Usually, my running sunglasses fog up, but they didn’t with this hat. That’s what made me choose it over my previous favourite.
I can honestly say this hat kept my head cool, shaded my face from the sun, and stopped me from having to constantly take off my sunglasses to defog them.
The only improvement I’d suggest based on my experience with running hats is to make the bottom of the top pin plastic. From what I’ve seen, every hat I own (except one with a plastic pin) ends up rusting or corroding, which can cause skin irritation. I speak as a bald man if you’ve got hair, your experience might be different, but this has been mine.
Used this plan to train for the Enschede Marathon on April 25.
Great plan with lots of speed variations, and a logic build-up of the KMs. Trained using the 3:15 target time, ended up running a 3:13:54. Will definitely be getting the next level for my quest to break the 3 hour mark.
